How does "Pay What You Can" actually work?
It means I aim to make as many events and resources accessible as possible regardless of your budget. If you can afford to contribute the suggested Ā£5 or Ā£12 tier, your support keeps the initiative running and grants server supporter roles. If you are not in a position to pay, you are just as welcome to attend for free without any questions asked.
How do I receive my Discord supporter role?
When contributing through Ko-fi, link your Discord account during checkout. One-time donations receive the Grassroots Supporter role, while monthly subscribers automatically receive the hoisted Grassroots Sustainer role.
Are events online, in-person, or both?
A mix! Regular community movie nights and casual hangouts take place online inside the Discord server, making them accessible globally. I also host physical community gatherings as opportunities arise.
Where does financial support go?
All contributions go straight into platform costs, hosting, community bots, event hosting resources, and keeping as many of the spaces as possible free of paywalls.
